We have 3 standard poodles. This is our beautiful Sidney. She keeps my husband company in Tuscaloosa. We believe she is turning 15 this year. We got her in 2002 and were told she was 5. We thought she acted more like 3...all we know is she has given us many years of love. She is slowing down but still going strong! We love you pretty girl!
Today is my last day with Flash & Gracie and Toto. Flash & Gracie stayed at their home and I visited and played a lot with them. On Friday, I will go back over to their place to care for them all week. . Toto stayed at my place all week while his parents were in the Bahama's. He has been PAWSOME! I love what I do❤️🐶
Today, Toto had all of my attention. We had many walks and lots of playtime. I also went over to Flash & Gracie's house to let them out and play lots of fetch! All in all, it was a great day!
Branson arrived today for doggie daycare and met my week long guest, Toto. After a few long walks to get acquainted, they are now fast friends! Toto arrived tonight for a week Vacay. His happy parents are off to the Bahama's! Well, we have scheduled tummy rubs and long walks on our agenda. Toto will be king of the house for the week😃
Upon returning to the house where i was dog sitting last night, I found the latch on the new gate was jammed. After a half hour of trying to get in, I decided to knock on the neighbor's door for help at 9PM. Neither of us could get the gate open and it was the only entrance to get into the house. We ended up using a stool to jump on the trash can and then get over the 6ft fence..actually I did this and landed with a thud..the bottoms of my feet bruised! The doggies were happy to see me:) All's well that ends well!
So, I am staying at Homer, Cookies & Maru's house for a couple of days. Never a dull moment especially with Homer! He loves to play and insists that you do so. He jams his adorable bulldog face between my legs with a toy then refuses to let go. My jeans are a slobbery mess..lol! I receive much love from these 3 and many slobbery kisses...
So this is Sammy and he is very food driven! Who gets that??
This video makes me smile. If his buddy, Jenson, was here he would finish his food then pee in Jenson's bowl. Yes, that actually happened a few times. His aim was perfect. Over the holidays I had 4 dogs here. After putting down all 4 bowls and making sure everyone ate their own food, I would pick up all 4 bowls to wash them. When my back was turned, Sammy would take aim only at Jenson's bowl. Probably because Jenson was a small dog too. The other two were a lab and a golden retriever…he did not mess with them…lol. Today my guest, Sammy, decided to pee in my son's new high top sneaker :) If we don't give him enough attention, he looks at us and just lifts his leg and BAM…he pees on something that he knows we like. We just look at him and say REALLY SAMMY! Look at that face…can't stay mad at that face :)
